NFL LONDON GAMES
2026 PREVIEW
Three Sundays of NFL action return to London this month
L
ondon is preparing for another October takeover as
the NFL returns with three regular season games
across three consecutive Sundays, bringing some of
American football’s biggest names back to the capital.
The action begins at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
on 4 October, when the Indianapolis Colts face the
Washington Commanders. Both teams arrive hoping
to make an early statement in the new campaign, with
Washington looking for a healthier season from dynamic
quarterback Jayden Daniels and Indianapolis aiming to
build around Daniel Jones after his encouraging first year
with the Colts was cut short by injury.
A week later, Tottenham hosts a heavyweight encounter
between the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville
Jaguars. Jacksonville enter 2026 after an impressive
13-win season, while Philadelphia will be eager to
reassert themselves after a disappointing defence of
their Super Bowl title. With two ambitious teams and
plenty of attacking talent, this could be one of the most
entertaining London matchups of recent years.
The Jaguars then stay in the capital for a second
successive game, switching to Wembley Stadium on
18 October to face the Houston Texans. This AFC South
clash carries extra edge. Jacksonville and Houston split
their two meetings last season, and both have regularly
challenged for control of the division in recent years,
making this far more than a showcase fixture.
All three games kick off at 2.30pm UK time, giving British
fans the full stadium experience without the usual
late-night schedule. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and
Wembley also provide two distinct settings for the action.
What began as an international experiment has
become a firm fixture of the British sporting calendar.
In 2026, London once again offers three weeks of elite
American football, passionate travelling support and the
unmistakable spectacle of the NFL at full volume again.
