I am a conscien琀椀ous person, always striving to be as suppor琀椀ve as possible for
my clients. Great customer service is the goal I’m striving for each day! With
this in mind le琀�ngs has been a great 昀椀t for me, as I am able to help those in my
local community 昀椀nd property that suits them, whilst working with landlords to
ensure everything is managed to their exact requirements. In my previous role
as a Marke琀椀ng Account Director I was used to juggling the demands of a large
team, and lots of stakeholders at once – and I’ve con琀椀nued to do some juggling at
Cha琀琀ertons, running the en琀椀re Le琀�ngs process end-to-end on my own.

I have been in di昀昀erent aspects of the property world all my working life having
started an estate agency on the bo琀琀om rung as o昀케ce junior/tea boy/mail delivery/
general dogs body. This gave me a great grounding and knowledge of running an
o昀케ce successfully. I eventually worked my way up through the ranks and remained
solely in estate agency for some 27 years, which I found exci琀椀ng and sa琀椀sfying? I
later quali昀椀ed and switched tracks into di昀昀erent facul琀椀es of the property sector
being survey and valua琀椀on work for Local Authori琀椀es and mortgage lenders. My
work now mainly revolves around property management, repairs, refurbishments
together with Homebuyer Reports and Building Surveys.

A昀琀er leaving school I quali昀椀ed as a shorthand typist and worked in a Building
Society. My next job was a family and I swi昀琀ly moved into estate agency and
property management to which I have been for some 30 years. The job itself o昀昀ers
variety and also some challenging aspects. Day to day working in the o昀케ce has
become more like family, as we work as a team in a good working environment.
I am grateful that I have been able to liaise directly with people on a day to day
property search, as they move onto another chapter in their lives.
