Fig and Walnut Tart
Ingredients
• 1 sheet of puff pastry or tart base
• 6 fresh 昀椀gs, halved
• 100g walnuts, chopped
• 2 tbsp honey
• 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
• A handful of pomegranate seeds (for garnish)
Method
1. Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
2. Roll out pastry in a tart pan; bake blind for 10 minutes.
3. Mix olive oil, honey, and cinnamon, then brush over the
tart base.
4. Arrange 昀椀gs and sprinkle walnuts evenly on top.
5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until 昀椀gs are soft and pastry is
golden.
6. Garnish with pomegranate seeds before serving.
