Croydon has been my home since 1955 (aged 4)
and I was educated at two local schools, Gilbert
Scott and Shirley High. I have been an Estate
Agent within the area for 50 years; a milestone
I’m still coming to terms with. I have worked with
many young and enthusiastic Estate Agents, just
as I was aged 18. Starting work in Selsdon I often
asked what makes a good Estate Agent? For me
it’s simple, be prepared to go the extra mile and
be willing to show your clients you care. I hope
we are able to help you with your property needs
and I remain available at our Sanderstead of昀椀ce to
receive your feedback.
My parents opened Paul Meakin in 1973 and
throughout my childhood I witnessed their
dedication and passion for estate agency within
the Croydon area. My 昀椀rst working day within the
Company was in 1996 and after working in every
corner of the business I became a Director in 2005
and then Managing Director in 2021. I pride myself
on delivering a transparent and professional service,
available 24/7 for my sellers, buyers and landlords
as well as building relationships they can trust and
a service they will recommend and return to. Out
of the of昀椀ce I spend as much time as I can with my
family supporting and enjoying their passions for
Cricket and Football.
Starting as a Trainee Negotiator, I have worked for
Paul Meakin for 15 years, and I’m now managing the
Selsdon of昀椀ce. I love working for the Company as
you are so much more than just a member of staff,
you are a valid part of the family run business. I’ve
lived locally my whole life and there is nothing more
satisfying than helping someone 昀椀nd their dream
home. In my spare time I like to socialise with friends
and family.

I started my career in the property industry in 2017
and have worked my way up from being a property
administrator to assistant manager. I aim to provide
excellent customer service to ensure the smoothest
of possible transactions. There is no better feeling
than helping clients 昀椀nd their perfect homes with a
big smile on faces. In my spare time I love to travel
home to Wales to see all my family and friends.
I joined the Paul Meakin team to assist Emma as
the business expands. Working for a successful
family run business is fantastic, every member of
the team is extremely dedicated and passionate
about what they do and always put the client
昀椀rst. I bought my 昀椀rst property in the area a
couple of years ago and have been interested
in the industry ever since. My background is in
marketing, design and branding and I am very
much looking forward to working on lots of
exciting new plans for the business.
I’m thrilled to have joined the team at Paul Meakin in
2024. Having lived in Purley all my life, I know the ins
and outs of our neighbourhoods and all the fantastic
oppor tunities this area has to offer. Though I’m new
to estate agency, I’m eager to dive in, learn, and grow
alongside such a dedicated team. I have always had
a keen interest in proper ty and now I am excited to
combine my skills developed through earning a Maths
degree, previous leadership experience alongside
with my passion for the real estate industr y.
